                      HYDRAII INTERFACE CONTROL CHECKS

Interface control checks are usually caused by poorly genned UCW's
or a dead or defective HydraII unit. Sometimes it may not be a problem
with a Hydra unit at all but with a conflicting address assignment on
another control unit attached to the channel.

Check for bent or damaged channel cable pins. Check to make sure
that the channel cable is not exceeding a maximum length of 200 total
aggregate feet. It is not uncommon to find the UCW's altered
inadvertently.
